Hurling club social 24th January
The club held a very successful social in the Mountshannon Hotel on the 24th Janurary. This night was a joint celebration for the club with the Junior B team receiving their League medals and the Intermediate Team from 1984 being honoured. The guest of honour on the night was former Clare All Ireland winning captain and All-star Anthony Daly. Anthony presented the medals to the junior team and the specially designed limestone keepsakes to the Intermediate panel. |

Clare POC FADA 2014
Whitegate Hurling Club is hosting the 2014 Clare Poc Fada competition on Bank Holiday Monday, May 5th at Whitegate Racecourse at 6.30pm. The Under 16s and Senior winner's will go forward to represent Clare at the Munster Competition, and also receive a trophy and Clare hurling gear. The runners up in both competitions will receive a Clare Tracksuit. If any of your members would like to register to enter the competition, they can do so by contacting Tony O Rourke on 087 2624479 or Sean Chaplin on 083 1014430 The registration fee is €10 for adults and €5 for Juniors. The registration fee will be donated to charity. We hope that every club will send a representative. I am attaching a poster which you could display in your clubhouse please. |

Whitegate GAA Club 125th Anniversary Celebrations
Whitegate Hurling Club are celebrating 125 Years and are having a function in Mountshannon Hotel on Saturday 8th December at 8.30pm to mark this great occasion. Admission is FREE and finger food will be served on the night. The evening will get off to a great start with a special powerpoint presentation at 8 30 pm. Live Music and D.J. Afterwards presentation. All welcome |
